Sales Representative (Full-time)

About us

In 2016 we founded our brand Wooden Amsterdam with a love for traditional craftsmanship and our city Amsterdam. Since then, Wooden Amsterdam has grown into an international platform with a selection of sustainable brands that all share our love for wood. From our Amsterdam serving boards to designer lamps, sleek gadgets and trendy accessories: we can’t get enough of it! On top of that, we are the distributor for a number of brands and we also sell to the retail sector and for this, we are looking for someone like you.

Your responsibilities

As a full-time sales representative, you are responsible for bringing in sales via various channels. You do this by actively pursuing leads, and just as important is a proactive market approach for new business. You are an expert in the Retail branch and you have what it takes to build a strong network with current/potential customers. You have an affinity for sustainability and you know how to tell the story of Wooden Amsterdam compellingly. And don’t forget … We do not sell products; we sell an experience. You know exactly how to convey this. In addition, you will participate in trade fairs and you are always up-to-speed on market trends, customer activities and competitors. You also share these insights with the marketing team.

Your profile
  • You have completed an MBO/HBO study;
  • You have the ability to build successful business relationships with customers and prospects;
  • With your personality you easily convince people and you have excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Work experience in a similar role and in the retail sector;
  • Affinity for sustainability and wooden products;
  • Proactive;
  • Proficiency in English (C1) and Dutch (fluent).
What we offer
  • A salary between € 2,500 and € 4,000 based on 40 hours a week;
